CLK front number plate mount

Hi, I'm looking for the front number plate or license plate mount to the bumper for a W209 CLK AMG or W203 C55 AMG. I don't care if it is painted or not. I live in the US so if you do not wish to ship...post to the US please disregard.

thanks,
Alex

Are you going for the Euro look, i.e. do you want the UK / European licence plate mount as ours are different size to yours.

Yes! I've already done the rear, just looking to complete the front. I'm in the Air Force and put in for orders to RAF Mildenhall and thereabouts so I'm just going to go all out...might as well start now

Nick, would that happen to be the same part for the AMG bodied W203? (I know that the C55 bumper and W203 AMG bumpers are different.

I could do with the mount for my W203 which has the AMG kit.

Nice car, you have there, that looks great. I've noticed quite a few people in the US do this to their cars, complete with German licence plates behind the US plate.

Without going too far off topic, I know that for quite a while many US states would allow you to not require a front licence plate (especially if the car wasn't designed to have one). Is that still the case?

I dont think that would be the same, the W203 AMG is very different from the W209 AMG. The C55 is a W209 front clip and W203 fromt the windshield/windscreen back.

Thanks for the compliment! Yes, it is more common to see cars with just the Euro front plate, but I wanted to take it a step further. A lot of owners on the west coast/California tend to do this as well.

Unfortunately many states still require a front plate, which I was ticketed for last week. This pushed me to get the front Euro plate mount to mount the Euro plate with the US plate over it.

The AMG 203 one is different, I'll try to find a part number for you.

Thanks, I wanted to expand my living space to the garage too. In the warm months I host card games in the garage, I'm only lacking air conditioning and a TV in it. Yet to finish the floor in epoxy though.
