Hard to say Karl, could just be grunge on the arch that he's missed while cleaning.

However, it is the classic spot for a bit of tinworm. Tell him that if you turn up and find out that it is, you reserve the right to beat him round the head with a fresh carp.

The 2004 car shouldnt have rust, as of mid 2003 the e-class had galvanised panels.

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not sure exactly what the AMG body kit includes.

Have you spotted this one, it has a factory fitted kit of some type?

Thanks for link, but that's just a standard bumper w211. What I'm after looks like this:

Also has a different rear bumper and AMG style III 18 inch alloys

Already spotted that, its an elegance tho - lower spec, non LED brake lights which can't be converted to the later ones without grief. Not keen on the colour either. fussy I know!

One popped up tonight, same colour with facelift sport alloys. Really one want brilliant sliver or black

Thanks for looking tho!

Why not get one then add the amg kit to it? There's loads kicking about on eBay.

Loads? I can only see one on eBay and its £2000 and not OEM.

Spend 5 years sourcing parts for my W202 dont really want to spend another getting it looking right.
