I would go for the 3 fin which I have now purchased but can`t get the old grill out as I can`t release it at the bottom after removing the top 4 small bolts.
As you seem to be an expert in changing the CLK ( w209) grill could you please advise me. Many thanks, Reggie |

The grill is just held in by a lug at the bottom of either side. BTW the central bridge piece that is bolted to the grill is a different size between the early type and the later one so you may need to change that as well!
