Mercedes still supply them.

Eurocarparts do them. Don't forget you discount code if you use them. MB30 is the code (I think)

Hadrain also do them.

The wings just bolt on/off. MB ones are the best but pricey. Pattern parts are ok but often dont fit properly without fettling. If you are using a body shop it could add to the labour bill. Make sure to rust proof the inner surface properly.
Jacking points are not too bad to fix but unless you know what you are doing get a professional to do them.

will have to remove the sill covers and check them properly, unfortunately i may have to splash out on profesional help as theres a nasty repair been done to the pass side inner wing at the front(snottery welding! ) as its had one owner and a full history(all but the last 2 services by main dealer, and last two by a merc specialist(?) im thinking it will be worthwhile to lavish a bit of attention on it.

Pattern parts don't always fit very well, but are cheap:

generic ones are reasonably priced, but do make sure you check the gaps. originals could set you back a few hundreds but are a better fit.

Inchcape and many others will give you 10% if not a bit more. Ask nicely and you never know. I got 40% off a multifunction switch for the 124 as it has been sitting in stock for a while. The original wings are definitely better quality.

Good luck with this. I'm currently replacing both wings on my E220. Have removed the original ones, just doing some waxoyling whilst I await delivery of some pattern wings from Euro Car Parts - ill let you know how they fit, hopefully the fettling won't be insurmountable! Please post up the cost of your wing from MB...will be interesting as patterns cost me ~£140 for 2

ive just recieved a driverside wing i got of ebay(£40 inc post)which looks pretty good,so ill be able to judge the diffrence to the MB part, before i pop the pattern one back on ebay,,,I,ll let you know how it goes. Can you still get the handpump pressurised can from waxoyle? used one of those many years ago(like an old weed sprayer)was very pleased with the longterm results from the waxoyl treatment!

You could try Bilt Hamber for the rustproofing. Lots of people feel its the best. Mine was done with dinitrol and so far no sign of any rot a few years on.
