Ok, i've spoken to MB Great West Road about this, basically i need a new remote for my alarm, as when i bought the car, it didn't have one. The alarm is a MB alarm, not a scorpion or another aftermarket one.
MB GWR said that if i bring in my proof of ownership, and my VIN they can just order a new remote for the alarm as it is all stored on file what alarm was fitted, operating frequency etc.
Anyone know if this is true (parts managers ;) )
If it is , as i am far too busy (should read lazy :rolleyes: ) to trek to MB GWR would one of you kindly souls (parts managers ;) ) take pity on me and order me one if i supply you with my VIN ?
In exchange , at the next GTG i shall be happy to furnish you with a beer or four ....
