I recently looked at the pre-wire setup in a W220 and realised that there are several connections in the analog TV tuner that I know nothing about.

It has connector A, B, C like a radio and so far I only know 4 of the pins on connector A.

Anyone out there have a diagram ?

Connector A, B, C is the same shape as a normal radio set. But the pins are as follows.

Plugs B and C are used for rear screen viewing.

Connector A ISO 8 pin
=================
1 speed related volume control
2 k-line
3 -
4 +12V
5 +12V to other devices
6 illumination
7 Ignition
8 Ground (to chassis)

Connector B ISO 8 pin
=================
1 Signal GND
2 Red
3 Signal GND
4 Green
5 Signal GND
6 Blue
7 Signal GND
8 Sync

Connector C ISO 10 pin
=================
4 and 5 = +12V and ground
Other pins are sound - sorry I didnt find out yet.

Connector D Quadlock 18 pin
======================
1 Sync (video)
2 Blue
3 Green
4 Red
5 Ground
6 Can Hi
7 (Bus ground)
8 Audio ground
9 Audio Right
10 Sync ground
11 R ground
12 G ground
13 B ground
14 (Bus ground)
15 Can Lo
16 (Bus ground)
17 Audio shield
18 Audio Left

When looked at with 2 rows of pins, the RGB + Sync lines up, the audio lines up as does the canbus. So its pretty hard to misalign the pins.

This is the pinout from Connector D to COMAND
