I guess my car's showing it's age, as this is my third different post!
Anyway, my 280 CE's developed an intermittent fault on starting. Occasionally (and usually inconveniently) it just won't start. There's plenty of juice in the battery and all the electrics work, but I turn the key and it won't start. The annoying thing is that if I come back 5 minutes later, it starts on the button.
There seems to be no pattern, yesterday it happened when I tried to start after filling up with petrol, the other day it happened after the car had been standing for a few hours.
I did spray some WD40 on the battery terminals just before I successfully started it yesterday, but I've got a feeling this was just a coincidence.
Any ideas?
Cheers
