headlamp removal C class sport coupe 2002

My headlamp lens was cracked by a motorway stone. £180 for a new unit from MB! Got a complete unit from germany for a fraction of the cost but I cant see how to change it. I think I need to remove the bumper to change the headlamp unit, I have a replacement unit but not sure where all the bumper screws are. Two headlamp screws are obvious at the top but I think there is one at the wing side and the unit wont come out without lowering the bumper? :)

have a look in the howto - theres an article on the w140 - the 202 is similar... ish. a bit. but not really. but it might help. or not. ;)

Thanks Guy but the w203 doesnt give access to the lamp fixings as shown in yr pics and there is no removable trim. I think I need to remove the bumper but dont know where all the screws are!

Have a look at the BiXenon retrofit and see if it helps

I use the same reference document for many such uses including general installation of any fog or headlamp.
