The PSE module in my S500 does not support Nokia 6310i and I have learned from other posts that I should replace it with A2038205185. Where is this module located and how do I replace it?
Many thanks :o

Replacing it is just a matter of unplug and plug-in. The connections should be the same but you havent specified which phone technology your car already has.
As for the location .... someone ?

My S500 02 has the MB factory fitted phone system and currently supports Nokia 6210 phones. The car is also equiped with COMAND 2.5.

Try looking under the rear seat on the drivers side. the control unit should be there - its a black box about 6" x 3" and has a pair of orance fibre optic wires plugged in and a large grey D plug .
welcome bye the way !

£238.50 including VAT from MB
Can sometimes be found on ebay FOR UNDER HALF PRICE!
This one doesn't specify the model, so could well be the one you already have. Beware!!

On a W209 CLK it's located centrally between the back seat and the spare wheel. On some other MBs, it's mounted adjacent to the NS rear wheel, in the boot behind the trim.

I wouldnt want to bid on it unless I knew the part number.

Should work, but is the 2038202585 version. This was superceded by the 2038205185.
It is currently under £20 +p&p, but you will first have to persuade the seller to post outside Germany. Sale concludes 16 May @ 12:56.

I found two in ebay and asked the sellers to confirm the part numbers and shipping logistics.
