95' C220 alarm

Hi there,

When setting the alarm on my wife's 95' C220, the indicators used to blink 3 time. Recently it only blinks twice. Does anybody know if this is telling something(electrical - light bulbs?) is not working probably or it is normal?

From memory is it not because the battery in the remote is low??? :confused:
