OK, I got the illumated door sills in and working just fine. So now I got this blue light theme going and I don't mean the rozzers.
Has anyone successfully converted the interior lighting to blue.
I built a 6 LED blue cluster for an interior light today, but it really didn't compare to the 10w bulb fitted next to it. Basically it was 2 rows of 3 LED's in series, I figured 4v forward x3 gives 12v supply. Unfortunately the LED's are too directional to be of any use as interior lights.
I also tried a super bright blue LED for the map light, but managed to blow that before I got it working.
I bought the only 12v sub miniature blue bulb that maplins manchester stocked today, not very bright, but might e worth a shot for replacement lighting for switches etc.
What about bulb paint?
So any good links, tips etc....
