Glovebox was a bit loose, but not too bad. Just needs valeting etc.

Although i dont think the car has a changer. I bought the car in 30 mins, unless i missed it. I popped up the front panel and there was no 6 CD Slot.

Yes. With a rubber glove. I got the car for 13k with a 6 month warranty, free service, car mats, glovebox fix, and a front nearside tyre.

Its been serviced at Sheffield Mercedes most of its life. Also i ran 2 Hpi checks. One at the dealer with me present, and one at home.

Have the radiator checked to see whether it's a Valeo as the age of car is when they had issues.

MB Bolton must be mind readers, all along they knew you really wanted a car with more than 37k on the clock.....

I presume that this car is an import as it shows it with Halogen headlights as they all had in Europe but any E320 CDI Avantgarde for UK sale had BI-Xenons as standard:confused:

I bought my W211 E320 CDI in 2002 and they definately came as standard but my freinds one he bought in France didn't have them.
Just read the VIN spec and it says Dealer Austria:confused:

By the way, having checked a couple of W211's I have WITH A cd changer, the russian EPC does not list it..

So Donza your car could well have a changer.

Many thanks JayManek. But on purchase of the car i did check the centre console. There is a solitary coin collector box in there. No changer.

I have just purchased a changer from a 2005 SLK for £100 via salvage (It is in MINT condition). I have bought the brackets etc from command online for aroung £50.

And i have found an independent who will install and code the car for around £75.

So for £225, i now have a CD Changer in the car that plays MP3's.

Yes it is motorised. I have had two previous W211's (One was written off and the other was clocked).

The first one had a changer in there. But its LEDS were always red and the CD's did not fit.
