Folding Mirrors

Is there an easy way to wire the folding mirrors so that they fold in when the car is locked?

Can't remember what car you have . . . but the short answer is "NO" - unless you have a newer car where they can be programmed to do this using Star Diagnose.

For the W202 & W210, forget it - the signalling & electrical set up for the mirrors is too complex.

Whilst we are on the subject does anyone know if it can be done to a w211. The reason I ask is that my dad had the dash pod changed and on the menu is now the option to do this but it wont work.

yes - it can be done on a W211...as long as it has folding mirrors...the auto folding feature can be selected from the instrument cluster...
