Phone pre wiring installers

Hi,

new member so apologies if this is unclear.

Just bought an 06 C180k with audio 20 stereo - does anyone know of an independant in Scotland who could install the phone pre wiring for me. Car phone provider wants to install a cradle but I would prefer to run my blackberry from the armrest.

As far as I am aware, there isnt yet a cradle available for the Blackberry that allows you to place it (the phone) in the armrest. The only cradle that currently works with a Blackberry is the Bluetooth HFP cradle.

To retrofit phone pre-wire so you have the phone system integrated with your cluster, Audio 20 and your steering wheel controls is not going to be cheap I'm afraid. A kit is available for about £450. Then you need to add a cradle. The BT HFP one is about £215.
