ML W163 Bench Seat

Hi,

I have a ML 270, 2002 model. Does anyone know how to remove the back cover of the bench seat for the back row seat to get to the headrest?

If pictures are available would be useful.

Hello do you mean this bits, there a button you press to get the headrest out. Or do you mean the actual wooden? panel at the back (with the bump in it as shown in picture)

Hi,

I mean the whole back bit where the bump is. My son droped my expensive pen down the headrest hole and I wanted to take the whole back cover off.

mmmm not sure on that one, I was only looking at this yeaterday as I was trying to fit a w164 rear cover to my w163..

Looks to me like it may prise off with clips being used? you could fold the seats forward and have a look at the bottom part (out of sight...)

someone may have an exploded diagram though
