Hi all.

I did a search but couldn't find answers.

Could someone please tell me the name of and when the latest firmware update came out.

My Nav DVD cracked so I got the v9.0. It automatically updated but nav is functioning inconsistently. Eg. sometimes looping when calculating route and not recognising the disk.

I was thinking the new firmware (or patch) might help?

Any response appreciated.

Cheers.

I have heard mention of separate Software updates for the E-Class, but not for the A/B/C etc.

My '55 W203 has gone from 4.1 to 9 without separate updates - when you put in the new Comand map disc the first time it automatically updates the firmware.

The Dealer may have updated things at some point but I'm fairly sure not.

Did you buy it from MB?

There is a headunit update disk for the A/B/C Comand units.

In general though you shouldnt need it. I have only had to use it once in the last couple of months.

When would that be needed? (How would we know if we need it...)

What does it add / change?

Just interested.
