Sheffield double din unit

Hi all,

i have found a double din unit for sale, pioneer avh4050dvd its on e-bay (i beleive its in a shop)

i would like to see it before i buy but its a bit too far, any fellow members up in that area that could have a gander for me??

Is there not a shop near you that stocks it? Is that the model you an add GPS / Sat Nav etc. Touch screen.

IIRC it sounds like a Asia spec model due to the model ending in 50 so its 4050 the EU equivilant model would be the 4000. Im not 100% on this but when it comes to the single din head units by Pioneer im 100% sure about the models ending in 50 being Asia spec.

EDIT: Just checked on the Pioneer Asia website and it seems my theory checks out, I would avoid to be honest as the radio will not be RDS compliant and may not work well to all radio frequencies here in the UK. See here for the model you are talking about:
