HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LOCATE A SPEED PULSE CABLE MY C220 W203
TO FIT A SAT NAV HAVE POSTED IN ELEC FORUM. NO LUCK SO FAR CLOSE BUT NOT THERE YET. :(

I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS AN E-MAIL SITE I COULD REQUEST HELP FROM OR A GOOD MB AGENT OR A GOOD AUDIO SPECIALIST.(AS MY NEW TOY IS GATHERING DUST ) :confused:

Set the wiper somewhere in the middle of the windshield - take off the lid on top of the fusebox - take off the screwed lid on top of the fusebox as well - take out the fuseholding block inside the fusebox - look at the bottomside of this fuseholding block - read the #s (numbers) and look for #24 - pick the third out of 3 pins - connect a wire and run it to the headunit - voila...

PROBLEM WITH REMOVING FUSE PLATE AS STEVE SAID THERE IS A VERY LONG METAL CAN ATTACHED UNDERNEATH SO WHEN I LIFT THE FUSE PLATE UP THE FUSE PLAT HITS THE BULK HEAD AND THERE IS STILL ABOUT 6 INCHES LEFT TO LIFT UP SO UNABLE TO GET TO THE UNDER SIDE OF THE FUSE CARRIERS TO CHECK FOR PLUG 24.

IN THE END HAD TO GET INTERFACE FROM WORKS FINE EASY TO CONNECT GIVES SPEED/STER WHEEL CONTROLS AND FULL BACK LIGHT CONTROL.THE INTERFACE IS A BIT COSTLY AT £119.BUT IT DOES WORK.

i got the interface from www.soundlinx.co.uk they are in tamworth staffs

they do two interfaces one for just steer wheel controls part no/bec01mer
and one for all radio connections dash lums/power/speed ect
having probs with puting the pics.
soundlinx site does show both units
