heater problems

hello all can anyone tell me why my heater only blows hot air?
1 have a 95 c180 elegance.

welcome to the forum,(or should i say mad house :D )

Not quite sure on this but,it could be the heater solenoid valves sticking?These if I remember correctly are located just infront of the brake fluid resevoir in the engine compartment might be worth a look or even try tapping them to see if it frees anything up.

thanks for the welcome im new to mercedes ownership too

I have dismantled the valve and it doesnt appear to be sticking
I also tried to measure voltage at the wiring loom plug but it was zero volts no matter how i adjusted the heater controls
