View Full Version : Radio Removal Tools
Hi
Is it possible to buy the removal tools for Mercedes Head Units, i have been told by my local super unfriendly stealership that they are "specialist tools and are only for the use of MB Technicians"
If not does anyone know what other manufacturers use a similar tool to the MB one.
Cheers

Hi Guys
Thanks for your help and the part number, I got the tools from MB Docklands for £3.69.
They also said that they should only be sold to the trade but coz i had the part number they would sell me them to me.

Looks like you will be receiving a valve then, unless the DC computer is wrong

hmm... that's worrying. The guy in part seemed to confirm that it was a removal tool  . I'll have to wait and see what turns up in the post.

:) Purchased one on 13/08/05 from MB Stockport - £1.06 inc VAT. Bought this to remove my Audio 10 head unit.
Confirmed part no. from receipt as W000 589 88 63 00.
However, some stealers are not willing to oblige as they advise it is a MB tool which they are not allowed to sell which I found out when I tried to order one from MB Central Manchester and hence I got one from Stockport. :bannana:
