Slow Driver side mirror..

Hi, I have a 2004 W211.

The driver side mirror is proving very slow in movement. Moreover it seems its range of movement is somewhat limited.

Compared to the passenger side mirror which is normal.

Any advice? Is this covered under warranty? I have one year warranty left..

Almost certainly covered.

Try folding it and spraying some PTFE lub into the workings and moving it in and out. Could just be a little dry

Yes as above. fold the mirror in there is a square hole in the end, press the catch in the hole and you can slide the cover off and get to the swivel joint. PTFE or Silicon and this will not hurt the paint
