I am about to fit a panasonic cn-dv2300n navigator to a c200 1995 merceedes.
anyone know where you find a speed pulse.

location and wire colour would help me a lot

Take the two fat plugs out of the back of your stereo headunit. You're looking at the ISO plugs! One of them does all the speaker stuff, usually white, purple and grey wires, ignore that, the other one has some yellow, red, black, brown etc wires in it, that is the power for the headunit etc, pin 1 on that plug, if it has one (it's technically optional) is the speed pulse!

...and that wire in pinpos 1 is most probably green/white in your car...
