Hi guys,

I am new here to the forums, I live in America and I am trying to find a few things but without any luck so I thought I would see if anyone can help here.

I am looking for estate tail lights for my 1987 300TD. They look like this:

With the smoked out centers but I can not seem to find them anywhere. I e-mailed a company in Germany called MHW who used to sell these and they said they were no longer being produced and they did not know where I could find them.

Does anyone here have any idea on where I might find these tail lights?

Thanks for looking!

- Frank

I've never seen any tinted W124 estate lights but you could always tint them slightly yourself with a can of tint spray.

Mask off the red sections, spray lightly, allow to dry fully then lacquer over the tint and polish up.

The difference with those lights is that the indicator section isn't orange

I've never seen a set except in that photo

You are right the orange is blacked out which is what make these unique; MHW used to make them a company from Germany.

I E-mailed them and got a response that they no longer make them and that ebay.de may be my best bet. Easier said than done, that just made me sad I didn't live in Germany because of how cheap parts were for my car! :D

It looks like they are stock tail lights in the catalog. I wish I knew German.
