Finally thought I had sorted out my mobile phone/cradle woes. Was going to keep my unused Sony K800i and start using it with a new cradle.I have phoned numerous dealers and all want in XS of £160,No discounts. One offered 5%.I have looked on e bay but none.
Keeping this phone has shaved £20 a month off my bills. This phone does not work with the bluetooth version. Also having cradle ensures my phone is always charged.
Anyone Know of where one may be discounted?I just hate paying full price ,especially when it will be worth £0 in 6 months if not less.

Is it not worth having two phones and two cards with the same number, the Nokia stuff can be bought so cheap on Ebay

This is something that we are often asked about.
I understand that Orange used to offer a dual sim/same number service and also vodafone. As far as I am aware this is no longer offered. If anyone knows different, then please let me know.

just checked out dual sim with vodafone.Avaliable but price plan would work out at £96 per month--NO Way.
They did suggest getting a pay asyou go into a car phone and divert from handset when getting in car,but then if you want to make outoing calls you have added cost.
Thanks for the idea though.

Are you using your sony in a UHI cradle? Is your concern that the UHI cradle is not working properly? I used to use a sony K700i in a UHI cradle and it was cr@p...
a solution may be to buy a phone that works well with another UHI cradle - a Nokia for example - many on ebay and change your sim card over into that one...

I amcurrently using the 700i set upwhich I agree is ....

The only sensible way round it is to have two numbers which people can get you on, one in the car one private, I looked at all the options
