Xenon or not

I've just bought a 2005 C220 Avantgarde with sport pack, does this car come with with xenon's, the lights are much better than my previous car but I thought it was a requirement to have headlight washers with xenons and mine doesn't.

You can always see the ring in the center of the lamp and they have clear glass

If it has xenons it must have headlamp washers too, if original MB

Could be previous owner fitted upgraded bulbs?
