Took a look this morning to see if the late ’04 build w203 coupe was pre-wired ready for the cable to glovebox to allow 3.5mm-Aux in on the Audio 20. Well it looks as though it is (comparing the white block with photos seen on another forum.), so its off t t’internet stealer to buy cable A2104405005.

Question is, what’s the unused taped back yellow wire for? It heads towards the rear of the car.

Is this a facelifted W203 ?

I ask, because that looks like the pre-facelift wiring (and the Audio-20-CD is a post facelift unit)

Intriguing... It seems to be right on the edge of facelift (or maybe I have two cars for the price of one :eek: ).

When plugged into the Russian site the VIN WDB203xxxx..xxx produces a delivery date of 8/12/04, the "Change of Year" options code of 805, and 523, calling up the Audio 20 - presumably factory-installed.
