Hi guys,
I bought a Merc CD Changer to go into my W208 CLK.
The silly thing, is I can not find the Cable in the boot to connect the CD changer to my Audio 10 (which has a CDC on it). Any advice on the location of this Cable?
Thanks in advance for any help

Perhaps the cables (wiring harness and fibre) are still at the dealer?

Which model year?

The car is a CLK 200, (Year 2000).
I don't think this uses the Fiber optics. I am just trying to find where they would normally put the cabel that plugs into the cd changer. Normally the wiring is standard and in the car when it leaves factory, I am trying to avoid taking all the boot lining out to try to hunt it if someone already knows where they normally terminate at.

Thanks

W208 owners would know better but I read the D2B based CD changer being available from 1.6.1998 onwards. Why not have a look at the head unit connectors?

Not that the cables would be located differently but to check that your changer really fits to your car.

European cars have had very limited wiring, if an option did not come from the factory, the wiring usually does not exist.

I don't think the cabling is there.
Have a look at this post:

my 2000 clk has the cable running to the boot by the battery, check there (no cd changer though!)
