SL cluster

This cluster is almost the same as the 124 cars, the speedo and rev counter not working plus a few other things. Having removed a few parts to test (the only way) I will undo the next layer tomorrow.
These things made by VDU have some high tech stuff inside and way ahead of the 1990 year

Its a 129 - 1990 about 80% can be measured cold, just got to find a way to test the speedo and rev counter

These things are not easily repaired without a test bed, and I doubt if anyone has one today.
I think that the speed signal is missing on the car to loose both

I thought Malcolm was meaning that it was much more advanced than the ones made in 1990 .... showing how much things had progressed since then ...

You must have a steady hand Malcolm ..... i would break that ...... 100% guaranteed .... bet your house on it ....

The unit has on board diagnostics for checking inputs - though it would need to be plugged into the car of course.
