I recently purchased a SAP Bluetooth module off eBay. Everything seems fine but the manual is in Spanish, Italian or Dutch! Anyone know where there is an online version of this?

What do you need to know? I'm sure we can help you or photocopy a manual for you.

All about how to pair a phone. And upload phone books.

Install cradle
Put comand on 'phone' screen
Turn on bluetooth, make it visible and enable SAP on your phone (remote sim access) - the Nokia N/E series need it enabled, the others with SAP it is just on.

Press the mercedes symbol on the cradle until the blue light starts flashing fast

Wait until the comand display looks like it has found the phone

Then look in the call list, you will find the phones it has found, select the one that is yours and call it.

Then after a few seconds a 16 digit number appears on the screen, the phone asks for the pairing code, enter it, if the phone asks about auto-pairing say yes (or remember to enable it later)

Get a rising beep-beep-beep tone if successfull.

Then it will go into SAP mode, and ask for PIN number (which if you have the V2 cradle it will remember)

All done.

To download phonebook, dial 0000 <pickup> on the comand, and wait - phone will reboot a few times as it drops out of SAP mode, downloads and then goes back into SAP mode

I guess the above is sufficient. I should have the manual in pdf format anyway, could send it if I can find it.

Hi. I have been strugling with my COMAND since I got van, the dealer was none the wiser to.
The big frustration I have at the moment is with the phone. I have a V2 SAP unit (they sold me a V1 first even though I specifically ordered a V2 because it remembered PIN no). With some difficulty I have got it to work with my Nokia N95 but cannot get the phone book to work.
The instructions above were perfect and I can see my phone going out of SAP mode, down loading contacts (340) and then restarting.
The COMAND hangs on "loading phone book" and when eventually phone works I only have about 10 contacts - all in the "A" section of the alphabet.
Can anyone help please.
Cheers
Bill
