sorry about the title - hard to sum up...

my wife's new C class has a proper factory fitted car kit (works off the steering wheel etc.) and it fits a nokia 6310 phone (I still have an old one, but the buttons play up etc.)

can you get an adaptor to use a later phone at all?

the 6310 is very dated, even if it was working A1.

thanks!

Assuming it has a cradle system, other phones can be used.

Or you could use a ViseeO Bluetooth solution. This opens up your choice of phones quite a lot.

I have a couple of 6310i's if you get stuck but the Viseeo is a decent option and far cheaper than MB quoted me to upgrade the factory kit

I could not find the model year of the car. It could have a pre-UHI MB kit and then I guess ViseeO is the only sensible solution allowing present phone models.

If the phone cradle can be removed, then it would be UHI and you would have more options.
