Interior light fault

Hi.

I've a fault on the interior light of my c200k. I need to get it booked in at the dealer but was just wondering wether anyone has any ideas.

When i aproach the car at night and unlock with remote, the headlights come on. When I open the door, the headlights go out but the interior light doesn't come on!

I can turn it on manually, so its not the bulb or fuse and it doesn't work when either door is open.

Same at the end of a journey no light when ignition key removed.


Any ideas?

Possible water in the front control module box, thats the one with the 2 lids.

Check for moisture under the SAM
