I can't remember at the moment but what lights are on a pre-facelift, early 1997 C Class.

Are they the H7 and H1?

I am about to buy a set from eBay but just want to make sure.

I think I am being daft but what is the difference from the 1st and 2nd diagram. Is it pre and post facelift?

facelift W202 are provided with H7 for low beam and H1 both for high beam and fog light.

Pre-facelift W202 is different! I don't remember the code

Ermm.. I take it the H4 and H1 are more of less the same then

No, completely different. Your H4 is usually your main & dip, (Twin filament) whilst your fog is usually an H1 (Single filament).
