Stall in the middle of the road!

My car (C180 Elegance, 1996) developed a fault where it sometimes stalls if I take my foot off the accelerator even just to slow down in the middle of the road. HELP please. Thanks

Oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter, (charcoal filter). Check all of them. Camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor.

Could be lots of different faults. Does this happen when the engine is cold or hot. Does it restart immediately? Is it down on power? Does it idle normally and at what RPM. How often does it occur, every journey or once a month? We really need some more information to be able help you.

Either idle control valve, MAF sensor or air leak into the inlet manifold.

Check all vacuum lines are sound then spray brake cleaner or similar round all joints.
