Hi all,
Iam going to fir comfort closure to my 99c200 .I have bought the non genuine kit off Ebay .Does anybody know where i can tap into the wiring for the windows and sinroof ? The purpose of this kit is to close your windows and sunroof when you lock the car via remote control .Any ideas would be great .

yes it does but it is not specific to mercedes ,it is a multi make unit ..i could probably figure it out if i knew where to find the wires for the sunroof and the windows .

What wires do you need to know, I think it is going to be a hard job

I may be sounding daft here but your car should have this anyway,I had it on my 95 c class.

If you press and hold the lock or unlock button while pointing the key at the car (door handle area) then the windows and sunroof will either close or open depending on whether you pressed lock or unlock.
HOWEVER it only works if you're still pointing the key at the car, and if you point elsewhere or something blocks the IR then it stops without resume! I'd like total closure to work with one press frankly but it's presumably been made like this for safety reasons.

Your 1999 C200 should have it as Shude has said. My friends 1999 C220 CDI Classic has this feature aswell. All windows down, hold lock, all windows up and car locks

Well i have had this car for the past 5 years ,my wife driving it for first four years and i didnt think my car had comfort closure .i tried a while back with the remote but i didnt realise the fob had to be pointing at the sensor in the handle so i guess i look quite the fool now.
thank you all for the advice ,i would be lost .
