Hi

I have a SLK with Bluetooth Unit fitted and recently purchased Nokia N95

While I can get the phone to work using Remote Sim, the Contacts do not download.

If I use "0000" then phone, the unit disconnects (as it did with previous phnoe), but I get a system error on the phone. Interestingly the phone navigates to the "sync" menu as though it is looking for a sync profile.

Has anyone managed to get their unit working with a N95 or other N series phone with the Symbian Series 60 3rd Ed operating system?

Thanks
Charles

Which BT puck do you have? I've been successful with an N93 but not with an N71. I have the V1 BT SAP puck. I've understood the later versions have better phone compatibility.

I've used the local Comand address book, downloaded the phone book via BT from another phone.

I have B67876125 (http://shop.mercedes-benzofmiltonkeynes.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=141&products_id=1377) I believe - not sure if that is V1 or V2. How do you tell?

It worked fine with my Nokia 8800 SE.

If I download the address book from this, will it be persisted in the Command unit? I was under impression it downloaded every time. I think I have the Audio 20 unit

Thanks

I'm using the first generation BT SAP puck with privacy cradle and it seems to work OK with N95.

What is your N95 SW version?

v10.0.018 15-03-07
RM 159

The phone part works perfectly, it just the address download that doesn't work. (Both Sim and memory)

Thanks

Odd, I have the same N95 SW. Could it be the car, I'm using it on a W221?

I have the permanent address book on the Comand. The BT puck downloads the address book every time it connects. This isn't ideal because it takes quite some time, even if most entries already exist on Comand (duplicated entries do not show up but those must still take download time).
