At present the up/down arrows on my steering wheel start the radio scanning (05 Sports Coupe withAudio 20).

Is it possible to have the radio set to cycle through the preset channels instead. My mate's W203 (03 saloon with Audio 10) cycles the presets and this seems much more logical.

Cant find anything in the manual to help, so asking those who know better.

Thanks in advance,

Roswaldo

It is in the settings and I have the owners manual to hand.

In the instrument cluster select the 'SETTINGS' menu and select 'VEHICLE' from that menu.
Then press the up arrow a couple of times until the 'PRESS BUTTON IN AUDIO MODE' comes up and then change it from 'STATION SEARCH' to 'MEMORY' using the + button.

Looks like a trip to the Stealers, I dont have that option in the vehicle menu.

All I have are the tyre speed limiter and the auto door lock functions.

Thanks for the help.

I dont have that option in the vehicle menu.

Thats odd you car should be a higher spec than mine.
I will pop out and check the insructions as I have already set this option on my car.

Edit...
Just been out to double check and I'll be blowed...
You are definately in the correct menu but mine has the 'audio button' option between the 'winter tyre' setting and the 'automatic door locking'.

It's as if your car is unaware that it has an audio device! Is that possible?

My 2004 W203 estate also is lacking that option in the menu. So Nibbo you must be a lucky chappy!

In 2006 and onwards the function you refer to has been restored. You will also need a special coding session to activate the instrument cluster preference.

It is a bug in your car with that function missing.
