Hi All,

I have a problem with the movement on my drivers seat, it suddenly stopped working after carrying some passengers, It would not longer move either forward or back using the control switch. From inspection it looks like a cable has unplugged under the seat. However due to the tightness of the space I am unable to see where the loose cable should slot in.

Does anyone have a diagram/advice on connecting these cables, I am presuming/hoping that simply reconnecting this cable will sort it!

Cheers

The connectors are not interchangeable. Once you have found the loose plug just try your luck.

You may be surprised to know that a digital camera usually fits into the spaces that line of sight can not. Perhaps the same applies to a make-up mirror (which also reflects light into the void).

It is very unlikely for a cable to be unplugged by itself since they have a locking catch. Have you checked your fusebox? It may just be the electric seat fuse blown. It is worth to check it out. I hope this helps

My wife slid a street directory under my SLK pass seat. It unplugged the SRS sensor.
