Help - windscreen wipers wont turn off

Help - I cant turn the windscreen wipers off - any ideas?. They will only stop when the ignition is turned off. the car is a W124 E320

Ooo Err, can you change the speed ? My guess is a stalk fault.

Pull the fuse untill you can get it sorted

hi, before doing major work,
in the fuse box, front o/s engine comp is relay box for wipers, give it a tap or swap for good one

thanks for useful replys, wipers started working normally again the following morning

Remove the relay and use Electrical Contact Cleaner spray on the terminals and replace. Do no harm to do the others and fuses also. A can of this stuff is essential in your MB toolbox!
