CD changer not working

I have installed the Comand in my W203 with the help of instructions on Mercupgrade.com. However, while the Sat-nav works well, the CD changer and phone are not working (CD changer working before with Audio 10 CD, but not the phone which was not connected to the D2B ring). The Comand does not recognise either. I found a black and blue wire attached to a plug in the driver's door sill ( D2B plug), but I could not connect the D2B wake-up plug from my new wire loom to it as they has similar plugs! I was stumped by that. A friend of mine tried to link the wire together (blue to blue and black to black) without any effect!
I am lost and do not know how to proceed! the Comand works, Radio is fine, AUX works but no CD changer or Telephone.
Please can anyone help me out!

See my PM - the fibre optics isnt working, sort the D2B wakeup distributor out (all the blue/black wires) - the connectors come apart, move the wire from the new connector to the existing one, and check the fibre optic (black plug, 2 orange fibres) is properly connected to the COMAND

If that doesnt work, then you can see what the COMAND is finding on the D2B bus by using diagnostic mode.
