Hello all, this is my first post so here go's
Iv got a slk 350, and i want to intergrate my ipod,
iv read pretty much everything i could find on the comand and ipod kits, but is there anyway i can tell if i have a comand unit already installed? is it standard spec? is there a code in my paper work i could look for? or is there anything i could look for in the car.
the car currently has a '20' audio unit. hopefully i havent just asked a very silly question!
Many thanks, i look forward to some replys.
Mark.

In my limited knowledge... You will have a fairly large screen on your center console (between your dashboard and the glovebox) if you havea comand unit installed...
(something like this on the slk I believe:)

Silly question then! I was under the asumption that the comand was just a box under the golve box, that the dvd nav, cd changer, tv runs out of if you had them fitted, and not that you actually had a screen and different model audio equipment with the comand installed.
Thankyou for your replys, poping my ipod in one expensive option then! :(

If you buy an upgraded radio from MBENZNL you can install iPOD on a radio in an SLK. It will cost you 1/2 maybe 1/3 of getting COMAND.

Nice! We like the new "thanks" buttons :P I'm guessing they have been put to fill the void in my heart left from the "older" feedback system :P Now I need a "You're welcome" button :P
