w210 Headlight

Can anyone suggest anything?

My dad has a w210 and the headlights have got water in them and the lenses are all misted up. Can i just remove the glass and let the water out and re-seal them?

I think water got into them when my dad left the back off the lamp unit. (He couldn't close the flap when changing a bulb.)

Any suggestions?

I took the bulbs out of mine and used a hair dryer for a while to heat up the lense.
Once it is dried out, replace bulbs and replace cover.
