Maybe a silly question???????????

As previous post, just bought my clk.

My Air Con controls have no light behind them when everything else is lit up. Is this normal or am I right in thinking a fuse may be blown? My radio - merc audio10 is also unlit.

Another funny one - The stereo turns itself off intermittently, hoping this changes when I put in the alpine.

Any help most appreciated. :rock:

There is a bulb under the air conditioning unit that needs replacing. You'll need radio removal tools to pull the unit out - go down to your local MB independant garage and ask them nicely to pull it out. The bulb costs £1.68 bought from Mercedes (or 99p from Halfords). MB dealer wanted to charge me £30 labour to change the bulb, so George Fraser removed the radio for nothing and I did it myself.

No idea about the stereo though I'm afraid.
