It could be a faulty comand - I have been unlucky enought to have had a couple of dodgy ones.
Asuming it isnt faulty for now, which connector plugs have you connected the speed pulse to?

dont know it this will help - but when I installed mine I found the speed pulse wasn't working.
I reconnected the wires to the command without the clip fitment - just plugging in using the black plastic part but not the 'wing' which locks it in place. It then worked fine -- clearly the clip wasn't clipping properly.
Hope this helps.

How did you check that the speed pulse is 'pulsing'?
I am having a similar problem except that my speed pulse is not connected (cant find it!) but mine does update my position occasionally, about once per mile!

It should be pin 1 of the A plug and pin 6 of the C2 both connected to the speed pulse.
