Can anyone tell me how to extract the Audio 20 from my W211 E Class.
can't see the usual two holes for U shaped key...
I need to install an FM modulator and need access to the FM aerial input.

I think you'll find that the Merc radios need a special key -- look for two horizontal slots about 1 centimetre wide and 1 millimetre high at each bottom corner of the unit. The keys slide in there. You can get them on eBay, or you can ask your dealer (though not all will sell them to you, they may just remove the unit for you).

I had a look on eBay for the keys but they all seemed to be for earlier models.
Not obvious where the keys would go and the local Merc dealer wouldn't sell me a set!
Looks like I'll have to visit the workshop...

You have to remove the ashtray/storage bin first - lift gently on the front edge of the gearshift panel and it will lift enough to get this out. Then you need a Torx driver to undo a screw underneath on each side of the CD-changer, if fitted. Once this is out, or if you don't have one, you'll find two more Torx screws. Undo those and the head unit slides out of the dash.
