SL Antenna

Its a long shot but......

Has anyone here with a current model SL (any engine) had their stubby antenna nicked?. If you have and you got a new one from the dealers do you have a part number by any chance, pref black but ultimately any colour will do.

I asked my dealer this very same question a few years back and they said no...but that probably means yes.

The New SL aerial is a combined Radio, GPS and Telephone unit and has an amp to go with it. It's for this reason why the dealer said that it would not work, but my personal feeling is that it should be possible if you try.

If you have a chassis number than MB parts dept can easily (ha!) find out the part number required.
