Hey guys,

I need some help, I removed the battery over the weekend to run a power cable for my after-market amplifier. I also disconnected and reconnected 2 connectors located below the right rear door panel: one had brown and peach wires with a blue connector (audio speakers) and the other was black connector with black and red wires. After putting the battery back in a starting up, the 4 window will not go up with one touch and the moonroof controls are all out wack. I don't want to go to the dealership and mess with all that stuff.

Does anyone have any input on this? I have a 2005 C230K Sport Sedan.

Thanks, Mark

If you have disconnected the battery, then you'll have to re-sync the windows for one touch operation and the same for the sun/moon roof.

Infact if you have ESP you'll have to re-sync 4 items:

The 4 'Sync' operations in the handbook are

1. set the clock
2. reset the windows
3. reset the sliding/tilting sunroof
4. reset ESP by turning steering wheel from lock to lock with engine running

To reset the windows open each window and keep the button pressed after the window has fully opened for a few seconds and the car 'relearns' the open position then close the window and again once the window has closed keep the button pressed until the motor stops. Repeat for the other 3 windows.

I don't have a sunroof but I imagine that the process is the same.
