How is it held in place?

Better make sure no-one tries to put a cigarette out on the display :rolleyes:

What a lot of buttons on your dashboard compared to mine! :(

Looks very neat, I probably should have gone for the B2 rather than the new Road Angel. Where did they mount the radar detector and gps antenna? That's what put me off the B2.

The base of the hinged mounting (into which the unit docks) is fastened to the bottom of the ashtray void - allows it to tilt and swivel.

Non-smoking car, it never had an ashtray!

Where did they mount the radar detector and gps antenna?

The antenna is out of sight - must ask exactly where :rolleyes: and the laser detector is behind the mirror next to the rain sensor - you can see it in this pic -
