catch ferry to Newcastle (UK)
drive to Dover
Tunnel to France
Drive through France/Belgium/Holland/Germany
catch ferry to Denmark
drive through denmark/sweden/back to Norway
drive to destination, get car serviced, go home and start again!!!

Yes, next door across the North Sea ! They ARE both in Europe.

Edit:- Just changed the option from Quickest to Shortest. Still took the ferry to the UK.

Edit #2:- Maybe there aren't any roads into/out of Haugesund !

Edit #3:- From the map, click Reverse Directions and it gets it right! How odd.
