Hi,
I have noticed recently that my light switch illumination isn't working, but a gently tap of the switch causes it to come on, so basically its a loose bulb/connection.
Can some one let me know how to get to the bulb for the switch so I can solve this? What do I have to take off to get to it?
Thanks,
Martin

Do a search on this section, as I am sure we have had this before.

Hi, I have got the same, bulb gone, [210 model] I have done a search but can't find anything, could you let us know how you did it, it seems to me that you have to pull off the switch [mole grips and bit of rag], then undo the nut under the knob
anyone else know, don't want to do any damage till I get more on this. regards and thanks

I have done mine today, its fairly easy after studying it, just need a cross cut screwdriver and a small straight screwdriver
1. remove the panel at end of dash facing drivers door, you will see a small slot, just insert small screw driver blade and gently ease up the panel till it clips off, there you will see your lighting fuses, see hand book for further details of what they cover
2.Remove by easing off the insert wood look alike trim, just above the window air vent, you will now see a screw, remove it
3. remove panel above brake pedal, put your hand inside to the handbrake lever, feel for and unclip the handbrake release lever, the clip is just at the back of the panel on the lever , now you will see three screws when you have removed the release lever, remove the 3 screws
4. lift up the top section, the r/h speaker, the panel covering the headlight switch will now come off at the same time waggling the vent from the internal air vent tubing
5. now you will have full access to the headlight switch display bulb to the left of the switch, fit everything back in reverse order.
time taken 10 minutes
