Hi all ,
In the w203 - i just had a trip in the back seat (being driven home from the pub!!)...
I notice that nothing was coming out of the back shelf speakers - i assume they are speakers???
The owners handbooks doesnt mention it - i made sure the fade was turned fully to the back etc..
Can anyone tell me if
a) there are 6 speakers (1 in each door and 2 in back)
and also
b) confirm that they are speakers on the back shelf?
Many thanks all
(a rather full (lovelyu meal though) ) Steve ;)

For models with the premium sound option probably, either BOSE or H-K.

In my W203 the "speakers" on the back shelf are dummies - probably filled if you opt for the Bose or command 50 system. The 6 spkrs are one in each back door and 2 in each front (tweeters at the top).
Hope this helps.

Please do you know if the sub is powered from a suitable amplifier or directly from the radio.
Mine is a basic Audio with cassette (to replace with an Alpine asap:rolleyes: ) with 4 speaker on the front, 2 on the rear door and the sub.
I'm wondering if changing the radio I'll keep the sub.
For me the factory sub work in a decent way:)
